IT Specialist/Engineer and
company spokesperson for one of the world’s largest utility companies
where he
is also responsible for provision of intrusion prevention and detection
systems.
An
author and cyber-security consultant, his professional background also
includes
multi-careered stints as a marketing director, professional
photographer, game
show casting coordinator, video producer and entrepreneur.
Rapidly gaining
national
acclaim as America’s Digital Defender, Mike is a
Microsoft
Certified Professional and an active member of the National Speakers Association.
He innovated the Edison
AVERT (Anti-Vulnerability Emergency Response Team) and helped formulate
the
company’s anti-virus emergency response strategies and anti-virus
information
website.
In 1999, Michael was
one of 7 finalists to participate in
the International World Championship of Public Speaking. He is
currently active
in the International Speakers Network and the Edison
Expressions Speakers Bureau and coaches new speakers, including
youth via the Youth Leadership Project sponsored by Training Dynamics
of Paramount, CA.

Michael is a recent
graduate
of the Los Angeles Chamber of Commerce sponsored Leadership LA project, a
licensed spiritual practitioner, and has been involved in community
volunteerism since he was 10 years old in Chicago, Illinois. Today, he
is an
advocate for numerous nonprofit organizations who build and support
community
technology access centers, distribute computer equipment to underserved
youth
and train personnel for careers in Information Technologies. Educate the Children, Community Technology Organizing
Consortium and Appleseeds Across America are a few of the Southern
California organizations he supports. He is former Vice
President of the Board of Directors for the Grandview
Foundation, conducts Career Clinics and delivers motivational speeches
for
local rehabilitation centers and homeless youth outreach organizations
throughout Southern California.
His recent audiences
have
included the National Urban Leagues Young Professionals and the
International
Association of Administrative Professionals.
